So, did I mention we are having a ‘show’ here this coming Saturday for all my little peoples… Talk about making the rod for my own back! We have had a few before, with varied success. Varied meaning the kids LOVE it, but the ponies…. well not so much!

Samhain saying a very cautious 'hey there' to Debenhams. In fairness, Debenhams isn't exactly the most trustworthy horse, so she's probably right to be cautious!
Whats not helping is that it has been in the late 30′s, early 40′s all week, with no sign of letting up. So, out I was this morning at 7am, dragging poles around an arena trying to work out an acceptable track in limited space (30m x 50m) But, I think we’re almost there.

Dusky Blue has lost her shoe doesn’t know where to find it. She left it alone, until Miss Stephie come home (from school that is) and walked laps of the field to find it

Thank you! I’ve had whispers with them, and they assure me that in return for a few carrots, they will be their perfectly angelic selves on Saturday
I wish I had your weather! We have a foot of snow on the ground with more on the way. We’ve been snowed in since Sunday and don’t see being able to get out until Thursday at the earliest.
But, we have plenty of food and fuel. My cats are saying they have no desire whatsoever to go out into the snow.
So our winter is most definitely here, in the Pacific Northwest of the US.
Ohhh, I’d swap in a heartbeat with you! We definitely won’t see snow here! I hope you are all staying warm, I think the cats have the right idea!
